Old Pocklingtonian brothers Ed and Jonny Sumner are holding an exhibition of fine art at the Pocklington Arts Centre.
Ed is showcasing a collection of oil paintings on canvas, while Jonny is exhibiting charcoal and graphite drawings of ‘The Sport of Kings’ in fine detail.
During one of the preview evenings at the centre, the headmaster of Pocklington School Mark Ronan unveiled a painting that had been commissioned by the school to celebrate its 500th anniversary.
Ed’s painting of the school has been reproduced via limited edition prints. They are available to buy at the exhibition which runs until 1 March.
Jonny said: “We have had two enjoyable and successful preview evenings ahead of the main exhibition.”
