Xploring event at Allerthorpe

East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Sports, Play and Arts Service is running a series of Xplorer events which will take place on Friday 25 April at Allerthorpe Lakeland Park at 10am.

Xplorer is a fun navigational challenge and involves a healthy mix of physical activity and decision-making where kids will love the excitement of searching for secret animal or colour markers, using a simple map of the park to find their way.

The East Riding of Yorkshire is the place to be this summer to get out and active with the kids to discover the great outdoors and explore the park, find the markers, complete the challenge and have fun together with the all new Xplorer events - a brilliant way for families to keep active and have fun.

Natalie from Xplorer, said: “The Xplorer events will provide a fantastic opportunity to get kids up and active, introduce map reading and decision-making skills and, most importantly, not have to go far to have lots of fun with their families in the local parks.”

All events are free and start at 10am, with the last map being issued at 11.45am. Families are invited to come and have fun exploring the parks.
