Woodhouse Grange second team’s 26 points for the best of a draw against Pickering saw them increase their lead at the top of League Division Four to 38 points.
The excellent batting wicket saw them raise 252-7 in their 45 overs.
Mike Hattee’s 84 was top score, and he has now scored 421 league runs with an average of 70.
He was well supported by James Rudd (55) in his first game of the season and James Hopwood (28).
In the Pickering innings, two early wickets each for Paul Grewer and Matthew Shepherd gave Woodhouse hope of a victory, but 46 not out by the visiting skipper, Ryan Boyes, saw them close at 145-6, over 100 runs behind but holding on for the draw points.
