Woodhouse Grange AGM

Woodhouse Grange Cricket Club, from Sutton-on-Derwent, are holding their Annual General Meeting at 7.30pm on Thursday 24 November in the clubhouse.

They will be reviewing a very successful 2011 season in which their top two teams won their respective divisions by huge margins and both remained unbeaten in league fixtures. This was also the year in which they built expensive new state-of-the-art outdoor cricket nets at their Sandhill Lane ground to aid practice.

Not standing still, the club are expanding by fielding four Saturday sides in 2012. Three sides have recently been accepted for the York Senior Cricket League to play in the Premier, Third and Sixth Divisions. The club will also be maintaining their long-standing York Vale League side.

Players, members and supporters are warmly welcomed to the AGM to consider these matters and help frame the future of this forward-looking club.
