Allerthorpe ladies hit the catwalk

Allerthorpe Park Golf Club ladies’ committee hosted a fashion show at the club on Wednesday 23 May.

The fashion show was organised by ChainReaxtion who sell ladies current season ex-chain store clothing from shops including Top Shop, Dorothy Perkins, River Island, Marks and Spencer, and Next.

The event was attended by over 100 ladies who all enjoyed seeing the clothes, modelled by the golf club’s lady committee members, followed by an opportunity to shop. It raised over £400 for this year’s captains’ charity, which is the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Allerthorpe Park Golf Club’s lady captain Marian Pearson said: “It was lovely to see the clubhouse so full and everyone seemed to really enjoy the evening.

“I would like to thank the volunteer models for getting into the swing of it and to everyone who came on the evening for helping us to raise a fantastic amount for our captains’ charity, the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.”
