Blue sky and sunshine, but a strong biting wind, presented itself for Pocklington against Harrogate.

In the first game, Pocklington were immediately in full flow, with the forwards dominating the scrumming and Tiger Brash hooking the ball to win time and time again. The backs were putting in some flowing passes, even though the wind played its own part to make it that bit more difficult, but with determination and support, they kept at it until it paid off. Charlie Laudage ran well, supported by Reece Dixon who took the pass and scored the first try of the game with a conversion by Rob Boddy.

More great passing by Ollie Mann and Matthew Mann resulted in Alex Todd powering forward for another great try, which was converted by James Wragg, leading Pock to a 14-0 win.

Pocklington made some changes for the second game, with Jessie Bell coming on and giving her all. Harrogate put up a strong defence, but Tom Bean and Charlie Laverack put in some great tackles. Louis Ratcliffe and Billy Ackerley worked hard to finish the game with two more great tries, converted by James Wragg. The morning finished with a well-deserved 12-7 win to Pocklington

The man of the match was awarded to Tiger Brash as he always puts in 100 per cent effort.
