Pocklington Under-10s were invited to play at Scunthorpe United’s Glandford Park during half time at this weekend’s game.
After watching the first half of the Scunthorpe v Charlton division one game, Pocklington took to the pitch in front of over 4,500 fans taking on Barton Juniors.
The boys played very well and seemed to love their opportunity to play in front of so many people, revelling in the support and encouragement they were receiving from both sets of fans.
The game was a closely-fought affair and very entertaining, with both teams playing some lovely passing football in front of the large crowd, the game ending 0–0.
Both teams were given a well-deserved round of applause at the end of the game before having their team photographs taken and retiring to the stand to watch the second half.
