White Rose Polo Club has continued to raise the profile of polo in Yorkshire this year, hosting a number of record-breaking tournaments and securing wins at away-games across the country.
The 2012 season concluded on Friday, 26th October, with the annual Polo Awards dinner – an opportunity to recognise the particular achievements of our region’s polo players.
Polo in Yorkshire has enjoyed a successful 2012 season, despite a late start and a tricky year of weather.
A summer of spectacular tournaments and triumphs came to a stylish conclusion on Friday 26th October in the form of a black tie awards dinner held at Rowley Manor, East Yorkshire.
60 members and friends of White Rose Polo Club took the opportunity to unwind and reflect on the previous six months with dinner, drinks, and dabbling in a little after-dinner roulette. Prior to the event members took part in a vote of four categories, and the worthy winners were as follows…
Best Male: Matt Yeo
Best Female: Emma Sanderson
Most improved: Graham Colvert
