POCKLINGTON 2nds got a welcome win when they defeated fellow strugglers New Earswick by 111 runs, picking up 30 welcome points in a Division 5a game.
J Uttley top scored for Pock with 61 and A Thomas hit 44 as Pocklington posted 177, R Wilstrop being Earswick’s most successful bowler with 6-41.

S Hill replied with a similar six wicket burst (6-22) as Pocklington wrapped up Earswick for just 66.
