Pocklington RUFC had an excellent work out when they put out two full teams for an internal practice match played under rugby's new experiemental laws.
There was a good turn out of 32 players, including half a dozen newcomers, which enabled the management to play a full scale game.

Coach Ed Townsened was delighted with the outcome, saying: "It was a really competitive, physical session which saw a number of players make an early impression."

Pocklington now have two more training sessions (tonight and Tuesday) before they play their first pre-season friendly away to Goole next Thursday (21 August). The squad game at Goole is scheduled to kick off at 6.30 pm.
