A TRIP to one of Europe's hottest golf destinations awaits Allerthorpe Park amateur Kevin Thompson and the club's PGA professional James Drinkall if they can come through the final of Europe's biggest pro-am competition, the PGA National Pro-Am Championship.
Thompson took his first big step towards a luxury five-day trip to Turkey when he won the club qualifying competition with a nett 71.

He and Drinkall now advance to Fulford Golf Club on Wednesday, 25 June, when they will play one round of better-ball medal play. The winning professional will receive £500 and there are valuable prizes for the top amateurs.

The winners of 16 regional finals throughout Great Britain and Ireland will enjoy an expenses paid luxury trip to compete in the Grand Final at Antalya Golf Club between 30 Nov-4 Dec.
