Gliding competition

OVER 100 glider pilots and their crews from all over the UK are set to descend on the Wolds Gliding Club as it once again hosts the annual Two Seat Gliding Competition at its home at Pocklington Airfield (16-24 August).
Between 30 and 40 gliders will compete against each other daily over set routes of up to 300 kilometres taking over 4 or 5 hours to complete.
