POCKLINGTON Town FC will get a belated start to the new season of Humber Premier League football, despite the season opening this Saturday, 16 August.
Allowance has been made for the non-availability of the Balk pitch as floodlights continue to be installed, and other teams having requested ‘free days’ in August.

Town now have just one game in August, a home fixture against Easington on Saturday 23rd, their midweek away game at Hutton Cranswick United on 19th August having been cancelled as Cranswick have withdrawn from the league.

A full fixture list is envisaged for September including catch-up games under the new lights, although this is provisional.

Owing to back word the club is still seeking a proven goalscoring forward for the first team.

The next training session will be at the club on Wednesday, 20 August, at 7.00pm.
