BURNBY Hall Gardens, one of Pocklington's top attractions, has opened for the summer season.
The eight acre site features two lakes, a rock garden and secret garden as well as its famous collection of water lillies, tea-rooms and children's play area. Plus the Stewart Museum which re-opened last year after major refurbishment. The museum is based on Major Percy Stewart - the initial inspiration for the gardens - and houses the artefacts he brought back from his world tours between 1906 and 1926.
