Letter: We’ll all pay for improvements

I am glad Barbara Davies has had a year to remember at the Oak House (The Voice of Pocklington, January 14).

How many of the 30,000 people through the doors was profit, if they’re having to borrow £60,000 for the first floor work they are doing? The place only caters for some of the people most of the time, but they will all have to find that £60,000 in council tax.
