Thanks to all who donated and helped with the mayor's raffle.
Thanks to all who donated and helped with the mayor's raffle.

Pocklington Town Council would like to express its sincere thanks to all the business and shop owners in Pocklington who donated items so generously to the mayor’s raffle held at the Queen’s official 90th birthday celebration on 11 June at Burnby Hall Gardens.

We enjoyed a complete sell out and many of the winners were thrilled with the quality of the prizes. We also added two star prizes which were donated by Browns Greengrocers and The Fresh Food Deli management.

Our thanks go to the following companies for their support:

Oxfam, Pocklington Pet Shop, English Pet Supplies, Elite Bathrooms/Bedrooms, Acorn Art Gallery, 6 The Pavement, Sue Ryder, Children in Need, Guest and Phillips, Arkwrights, Allsorts Antiques, Bags of Style, Pocklington Music, Pan A Vino, The Station, Bengal Lounge (two), Fresh Food Deli, Browns Produce, Age Concern, Co-operative (large store), Co-operative (convenience store), Celebrations, Grandad’s Shed, Ken Falkingham. All these generous donations were the result of an excellent selling and collection job by Steve Wainika.
