Letter: More council cash should be kept in reserve

Concerns over council cash reserves
Concerns over council cash reserves

I would think that a lot of Pocklington Town Council tax payers would be worried that the town council only carries £140,000 in its reserve.

I would have thought that it should be at least £200,000. Then to spend £75,000 of it on a project that can’t be making money is foolish with all that’s facing them in relation to the flooding of the town.
