My sister (Tiffany Swift) sent me a link to the picture (above) on your Facebook site.

I remember a bit about it – I’m fourth in from the right – Jonathan Swift, and the three boys in order to my right are: Nigel Maynard, Adam Chrispin and Richard Arton.

I believe the policeman on the very right is PC Terry Wood (who if I remember correctly used to run marathons each year and was a bit of a local celebrity because of it).

This was something to do with Operation Lifestyle.

Myself, Nigel, Adam and Richard put a team together and I think we raised money for the Sue Ryder charity.

I remember a cake sale on the Market Weighton High Street and also taking some elderly folk out on a day trip to Burnby Hall Gardens in Pocklington.

I think our team was rather cryptically called Operation Freestyle or Roadrunner.

I have worked for Microsoft for around 12 years, and live in Seattle on the West Coast of the USA. I don’t know what happened to Nigel Maynard. Adam Chrispin I thought opened an auto paint and repair shop in the local area. Richard Arton moved up to Aberdeen with his family around 1997. His brother (Robert Arton) still lives in the Aberdeen area. I think Richard lived in South Africa for a while
