International TV and multi-award winning entertainer, Johnny Martell, is set to perform in Pocklington.
His appearance is part of a fundraising event on 29 January, held at the United Services Club, on Waterloo Square. Local headteacher, Steve Woodhouse, who is organising the evening, is delighted at being able to bring the comedy vocalist to the town. He said: “Johnny is an excellent singer and all round entertainer. I have worked with him several times over the years and people are in for a great night.” Proceeds from the event will be donated to the British Heart Foundation. There will be also be a raffle taking place during the evening and Mr Woodhouse is keen to hear from anyone who might be willing to support the prize draw. Admission to the event, starting at 7pm, is by ticket only, which must be bought in advance. For ticket availability, or to offer a raffle prize, email firstname.lastname@example.org
