Pocklington Rugby Club presented a cheque for £1,600 to Martin House Children’s Hospice at a recent mini and junior rugby event.

The monies came from collections within the clubhouse plus a major boost from the Easter junior sevens, sponsored by local company, Agriyork 400, which raises money for the hospice each year.

The Wetherby-based hospice cares for over 300 children and young people with life limiting conditions every year and relies almost entirely on voluntary donations.
