A chiropodist has rediscovered her artistic talents thanks to a new art class taught by pastel artist Sue Doherty.
Jo Ramsden, who runs the Pocklington Chiropody Clinic, on Market Street, is delighted she joined the class, held at Allerthorpe Village Hall.
She said: “This art class has been the best thing I’ve done. I’ve haven’t drawn a thing in over 21 years as I was busy developing my business and being a mum to my children Hope and Taylor. I saw the advert and thought, I wonder if I can still draw? Because Sue’s class was so relaxed and friendly it was easy to get back into my art. I’m drawing all the time now and my husband has even bought me a desk of my own to keep my pastel dust out if his tea!”
