Father Christmas made a special stop at Pocklington’s Burnby Hall Gardens to meet youngsters.
The attraction’s Santa Sunday event saw nearly 1,000 people visit the Gardens throughout the day.
The event featured a variety of craft stalls and a children’s craft activity tent, where children could make Christmas angels and reindeer faces. In addition, there were a variety of animals on display, including a very friendly donkey, story-time sessions in the Aviary Garden, told by Pocklington deputy mayor Martin Ratcliffe, and a special letterbox for kids to post their requests to Santa.
