Pocklington’s annual Flying Man Festival celebrates its tenth anniversary this year with a fantastic, action-packed weekend of events.

To launch the festival, from 9 to 11 May, a gala evening of ‘flying themed’ music is taking place at Pocklington Arts Centre on the Friday at 7pm, with performances from four of the town’s finest choirs - Forgotten Voices, Pocklington Singers, Pocklington Junior School Choir and the Methodist Circuit Choir. Tickets are £5 each and are available from Pocklington Arts Centre in advance or on the door.
