Your article: First sod cut to mark start of work on new GP surgery

Building work on a new £3.3million GP surgery in Pocklington has officially got underway.

The first sod was cut at the site on West Green to mark the start of construction work.

Pocklington Group Practice has appointed Lindum Construction to build the new doctors’ surgery, with work expected to be completed in spring 2015.

Berni Judge, Practice and Business Manager and Dr Alison Atkinson, GP Partner from Pocklington Group Practice, welcomed everyone to the turf cutting ceremony.
