A champion brass band will be wowing crowds at this year’s Giant Community Day in Market Weighton, which organisers hope will be one of the best ever days on the town’s High Street.
The East Riding of Yorkshire Brass Band will be performing at the annual celebration day on 13 July, which was held for the first time last year to help boost trade on the High Street.
Plans for the family event are well underway. As well as the band, this year it will feature a giant penalty shoot out, two buskers, classic cars, giant robot, bouncy castle, climbing wall and a variety of stalls.
