The Society's trip boat 'New Horizons'

Pocklington Canal Amenity Society volunteers and others have been hard at work improving the amenities of the canal and helping more of the public to enjoy the beauty the canal has to offer.

The Society’s trip boat ‘New Horizons’ has been running various trips from Melbourne Arm to as far a field as Cottingwith Lock, where the canal joins the River Derwent, and has carried 1,200 passengers from all walks of life and of all ages.
