Popular Pocklington attraction Burnby Hall Gardens and Museum has received initial support from the Heritage Lottery Fund for their Golden Jubilee Restoration Project, which could lead to it receiving a grant of £500,000.

Development funding of £20,900 has been awarded to help the Gardens to progress their plans to apply for a full grant of £500,000 at a later date.
