Eight artists from across the region have joined forces to exhibit their work.

The exhibition will be held at the Triton Gallery at Sledmere House, near Driffield.

The artists have ensured that there will be a variety of work to be seen – paintings by Shirley Davis Dew and Shannon Morgan, ceramics by Gerry Grant of Fangfoss Pottery, jewellery by Mo Burrows, leather work by Mimi Rawlings, rocking horses from the Rocking Horse Shop in Fangfoss, woodwork by Alf Fenton, upholstery by Ali Burrows and Japanese shibori and textiles by Susan Giles.

Gerry Grant, one of the exhibitors explained, “It is really good to share venues with other artists. It means that there is a wider selection of art on show and it helps us to keep our costs down. Doing a show on your own can be quite expensive as well as lonely.”

The exhibition opens on 16 June and runs through until 28 June. It is closed on Mondays.
