Two groups of youngsters are making a difference in their communities as part of this year’s Lifestyle Challenge.
Five children from Woldgate College, who call themselves ‘The Four Leaf Clovers’, have been raising funds in aid of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, to help children in the area be granted their wish.
Maisie Blackmore, Sarah Madeley, Charlotte Burns, Megan Price and Lorna Blackmore (ages) have held a bake a wish cake stall (where), which raised £115 for their chosen charity.
They are also recycling phones and ink cartridges in an effort to raise more funds for the charity.
Meanwhile, five youngsters from Warter Primary School, called ‘The Warter Five’, are creating a wildlife haven and revamping the Jubilee Plantation Garden in Nunburnholme.
