Work to extend the car park at East Riding Leisure Francis Scaife in Pocklington will begin next week.

The three- week project will create 20 additional car park spaces at the popular Centre in Burnby Lane, and the work involved will be adjacent to the sports hall.

Senior facility manager Darren Jackson said: “The Centre will remain open as normal during these works, which will create further car park spaces for our customers.

“We apologise for the inconvenience during the works, and ask that our customers bear with us during the construction of the additional spaces.”

Work will start on Monday March 27. For full details of facilities at East Riding Leisure Francis Scaife, visit www.eastridingleisure.co.uk/francisscaife
