The winner of a competition to design an East Riding flag has been selected by the public.

It will be unfurled for the first time at Beverley Minster on Thursday 18 April at 10.15am and the Lord Lieutenant of the East Riding will be in attendance.

Andy Strangeway, who organised the competition, said: “I believe the flag will prove very popular, it reflects the East Riding beautifully.”
