The Wicstun Centre, in Market Weighton, will closed temporarily next week as improvement work is carried out.

The centre will close temporarily for one week on Monday 27 March and will reopen at 9am on Monday 3 April.

Although the centre will be closed, library loan periods have been extended to account for this.

An East Riding of Yorkshire Council spokesperson said: “We apologise for the inconvenience caused by these essential works, but assure customers of the Wicstun Centre in Market Weighton that they will see improvements to the facility after the completion of the works.”
