Former Pocklington parent Jim Bloom led Warrendale Farms to victory on the team’s debut at the annual Pocklingtonian Golf Day on Friday 6 May.

There was a good mix of OPs, current and former parents, staff, friends and colleagues taking part in this year’s event which was kindly sponsored by the family-run car dealership SG Petch.

Their hole-in-one competition with a main prize of a Fiat 500 was hotly contested with Jerry Petch himself coming very close to winning his own car when the ball hit the pin before rolling away on to the green.

Thanks go to the Nutt family for their hospitality at The Oaks Golf Club, to SG Petch for sponsoring the hole-in-one competition, to Leanne Maycock for running the half-way house and for her help on the day, and to all the teams for taking part and making it such an enjoyable day.
