Walking in the footsteps of the region’s great rebellion

The long awaited Pilgrimage of Grace Heritage Trail was officially launched on Sunday, with enthusiasts flocking to walk the eight and three quarter mile route between Warter and Pocklington.

The trail was launched by the Chairman of East Riding Council, councillor Claude Mole at the Wolds Heritage Centre at Warter, where medieval music, performed on traditional stringed instruments by local musicians, provided the perfect accompaniment.
