Members of Bentleys Drivers Club rolled into Pocklington in their vintage vehicles.

About 26 classic Bentleys were on show at Pocklington’s Burnby Hall Gardens for visitors to have a look at. Among them was a 1922 three litre Bentley, which was the oldest car at the Gardens.

The cars belonged to members of Bentley Drivers Club’s, mostly from the north east region, but there were some Bentley enthusiasts who had travelled from as far as Essex and the south west in their vintage Bentleys.

The group also drove to Thixendale on the same day, before heading back to Cave Castle Hotel in South Cave, where they were staying.

Nigel Myres, chairman of the north east region of Bentley Drivers Club, said: “Everybody had a good time. We got plenty of comments about the organisation and everything we did.”
