Village set for fun-filled weekend

Villagers in Holme-on-Spalding Moor are gearing up for a fun-packed weekend.

The village is set to hold its annual Holme Grown Weekend on 27 and 28 June. There will be a scarecrows on display, which need to be on display by Wednesday (24 June). The deadline for entries is tomorrow (19 June). There will also be an open gardens event on the Sunday, from 10am to 3.30pm, and the deadline for entries is also tomorrow. All entries for open gardens and scarecrows must be made at Margaret’s DIY. A children traditional tea party will take place at the village hall on the Saturday, from 2pm to 4.30pm. The Great Holme Bake Off and photography competitions will take place on the Sunday, in the village hall.
