Village set for fun-filled Easter event

Last minute preparations are underway for the sixth annual Egg Hunt and Easter Fair at Hayton village hall on Sunday.

The egg hunt, which costs £1 to enter, will be held between 10.30am and 1pm and will involve entrants finding numbered eggs around the village. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The winner’s presentation will take place at 1.30pm.

The Easter fair will be held from 11.30am to 2pm.

There will be games and challenges, cakes, a plant stall, a book stall and a decorated egg competition for all ages.

Bacon butties and refreshments will be available.
