When life often seems to be getting increasingly frantic, sometimes we need to take time for ourselves; taking time to remove ourselves from our usual routine in our life. I have joined a group going on pilgrimage to Walsingham in Norfolk which has received pilgrims since 11th century.
Time on pilgrimage is an opportunity to reconnect with oneself and strengthen our relationship with God. In our society we are constantly judged by what we do rather than who we are but we need to be who we are and so sometimes we have to make the time to be and take a break from doing.
