Van driver injured in two-vehicle crash

A driver sustained pelvis and leg injuries and had to be cut free from his van after a two-vehicle crash in Holme-on-Spalding Moor.

The collision happened on Arglam Lane near the junction with Bursea Lane and involved a white Volkswagen Caddy van and a Land Rover Freelander.

Paramedics, firefighters and police officers all attended the incident, which happened on 22 December at about 5.30pm.

The road was closed until approximately 8.45pm.

The male driver of the van was cut free from his vehicle by the Fire and Rescue Service and taken to Hull Royal Infirmary by ambulance.

His condition was said to be non-life threatening.
