Owners of unique sports cars are revving up to display their roadsters at Pocklington’s Burnby Hall Gardens.

The Naylor Car Club will be stopping off at Burnby Hall Gardens for a couple of hours from about 12noon on Monday (11 May) as part of their annual club weekend event.

Peter Rogers, assistant estate manager at the attraction, said: “Burnby Hall Gardens are really pleased that the Naylor Car Club are dropping in to see us and giving our visitors an opportunity to see these unique cars.”

The Naylor and Hutson ‘TF 1700’ cars were inspired by the MG TF built in Abingdon in the 1950’s and, after improvements, 100 cars badged Naylor were produced from 1985 to 1986.

In 1986, Naylor Cars PLC was acquired by the Hutson Car Company and a further 61 were produced.

David Naylor organises this annual event for owners of these special cars.
