If you enjoy making friends, taking up challenges and laughing together, you may be interested in the new Trefoil Guild group in Pocklington – it’s Guiding for Adults.

Whether you’ve been involved in guiding or not, the Trefoil Guild is a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded people in the area.

Each group plans its own programme, tailored to the interests that members bring with them, and if you have been involved in guiding in the past you will know how much fun can be had.

Its members agree to support the guiding ethos, including helping other people, and often have involvement in community activities or supporting UK or overseas charities.

The lower age limit for joining is 18 and there is no upper limit. We intend to meet on a monthly basis with activities mostly during the day.

Our next meeting is on Wednesday 24 February between 1pm and 3pm at St Mary and Joseph Church Hall when we will be preparing (and eating) a Mexican lunch followed by Mexican-related activities.

If you would like to know more about the group and would like to come to the February meeting, please contact Janet Olsen on 01904 422096 or email janetolsen@btinternet.com who will be pleased to hear from you.
