A Beverley based charity which sends gifts to children suffering ill health or living in poverty in our region is appealing for toy donations.
Hoggle Doggle, founded last year by David and Clare Allan, urgently needs toys for the most vulnerable and needy children, many of whom have no toys at all.
Clare said: “We know people’s hearts go out to these children and that the public is incredibly generous and wants to help.
“We’re asking for new or used toys, games, books, and puzzles in good and complete condition, which we desperately need at the moment.
“Many parents, through no fault of their own, are really struggling to provide basic toys which are vital for normal development. We’d be immensely grateful if people were able to help.”
Donations for the children, who are all under 18, can be made Tesco stores in Beverley, Driffield and Market Weighton, at Busy Bees Nurseries in Beverley and Brough, and at the Co-op store in Hessle, any time the establishment is open.
