Town council makes moves to try save youth centre

The future of Pocklington Youth Centre is again up in the air after the with the town council claiming the local authority is planning to put the building up for sale as early as October.

Councillors say they have been told by ERYC of the plan to sell, though the authority has refused to confirm this simply saying members are considering the sale of the accommodation.

With omens not looking good for the youth centre, Pocklington Town Council are looking at a number of options in an attempt to save the troubled community facility on New Street.
