Two children and five adults were taken to hospital after a three-vehicle crash near Bishop Wilton.
Police were called at 2.13pm on Sunday (21 June) following the collision on the A166, Garrowby Hill.
The incident involved a black Ford Fiesta Zetec, a blue Volvo V40 and a black Vauxhall Astra. No people were physically trapped in the vehicles. Two children in child seats were unable to exit one of the cars due to its position in a hedge. Both children were manually assisted from the car by firefighters. The children and five adults were taken to hospital for a precautionary check-up by ambulance. A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “There were multiple people injured, but they only sustained minor injuries.”
