We hope when you read this week’s Pocklington Post (30 January), you will be pleased and engaged by the new-style content. In recent months we have been talking to many people in the area, some of whom we know and some of whom have come forward following our appeal for new voices for a new paper.
This week’s edition of the Pocklington Post is mostly written by contributors. We would like to thank them all because they have helped us to expand the breadth and depth of our coverage. Working alongside us, they are now part of a new editorial panel providing extra ideas and articles to help make sure that the newspaper is a real, grassroots community publication, the people’s paper. We will be out and about tomorrow (30 January) with our newspaper sales colleagues and we will be at Judsons, Market Place, Pocklington, between 2pm and 4pm if you would like to come along and share your views.
