A FUN-packed sports day was enjoyed by residents, staff and children at a local nursing home this week to celebrate the London Olympics.

There were a variety sports activities held at Stamford Bridge Beaumont Care Home on Tuesday, including an egg and spoon race, an obstacle course, a sack race, nearest the target and an Olympic Quiz. A presentation took place at the end of the day with gold, silver and bronze medals all handed out.
