The Rotary Club of South Cave and Wolds has agreed to work with Drewton’s Farm Shop to help deliver children’s letters to Father Christmas this December.

Father Christmas and his real reindeer will be visiting Drewton’s over the weekend of December 12 and 13, but there will also be a special Post Box at the farm shop, where children can drop off their letters to Father Christmas from Tuesday December 1.

Anyone posting a letter is asked to include as much information as possible, including the child’s name, age, postal address and an indication of whether or not they’ve booked to see Father Christmas at Drewton’s Farm Shop.

The Rotary Club will then collect the letters and ensure they all reach Father Christmas safely. Drewton’s Farm Shop is holding a raffle to support the work of the Rotary Club’s chosen charities.

Between 10am and 4pm on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December, children can enjoy some quality time with Father Christmas and his little helpers in Drewton’s Farm Shop’s Winter Wonderland, where they will also be able to make some magic reindeer food to take home with them.

Priced at £10 per child or £16 for two children sharing, visits are on a strict five-minute booking system.

Larger parties can be catered for upon request.

Appointments can be made now – ask the staff on the tills in the Farm Shop or call (01430) 425079.
