Second World War Airman remembered in Pocklington

Friends and family paid tribute to one of Pocklington’s Second World War air heroes earlier this month as his ashes were scattered at Pocklington Airfield.

John Allen, who was a flight engineer on Halifax bombers in Pocklington, sadly passed away suddenly on April 22, aged 89.
