The search is on to find Pocklington’s most talented performers.

Pocklington Town Council is looking for budding comedians, jugglers, singer-songwriters, musicians, dancers and variety acts to take part in this year’s Pocklington’s Got Talent competition.

The event will feature two categories, under 18 and over 18, with the winner of each section winning a £100 prize.

The competition will take place on 27 April at 7pm at Pocklington Arts Centre, with all profits from the event going towards Mayor of Pocklington, councillor Paul West’s two chosen charities - Young People Count and the Friends of Pocklington Arts Centre.

Applications forms are available from the Arts Centre box office and from the town council offices on George Street.
