A week of activities have been held at a village hall to celebrate a landmark event.

Sancton Village Hall celebrated five years since re-opening with a special week of events – supported by a grant from Celebrate England.

Supporters enjoyed live music from the Bad Bargain Band at a ceilidh, tea and cake at during a charity fair and live theatre – all based in the village hall.

A spokesman said: “The week of celebrations ended with a family Mad Hatter’s Tea Party in the company of Alice and a good time was had by all.”
